This was an interesting project - actually I've done several. I took a course by Melody Ross who taught how to decorate leather bracelets. This project came to me while I was trying to do something else with leather.I put this store-bought leather bracelet through my Big Shot inside an embossing folder. then I painting it yellow acrylic paint and wiping off the surface, the paint embeds in the embossed areas. I added Teresa Collins Designs Vintage brads (gems) in two holes and reattached the lobster claw connector (forgot to take the picture after I had a chain on the other side). Tied a ribbon to one side and it's ready to wear!! Actually, I'm going to seal it, I believe. I'm sure someone has thought of this LONG before I did, but try it...such fun!
